Back in Paris

We are back in Paris. Landed this morning and our pastor and his wife came to pick us up and brought us for breakfast. So that was a treat.

Our flight back was on the B777 on Singapore Airlines. I think this plane is new. It's cool, the screen is bigger, seats are wider, etc, etc. As usual, KW and I requested for the back of the plane where the 3 seaters converge into 2 seaters. In the older planes, this is like row 65 or so and it's great coz there is extra space at the side.

So we got our 2-seater but in this new plane, the 2-seater is the very last 2 seats and we couldn't believe when we saw the seats. There is no room to lean back!!! Argh! So we sat upright for 13 hours!! Of course, there were a lot of acrobatic stunts in our desperate attempts to get into a comfortable sleeping position. Siong sia.

Otherwise, it's nice to be finally home where we have our own bed, space, computer, etc etc. Can turn the tv volume to as loud as we want, sleep as long as we like, eat anything we want. Just miss the family a bit though; not in the conscious thinking-about-them-all-day way, but in the i-think-I-left-my-heart-somewhere way.

Ok. Am going to sleep some more..

Jo

You can always use the "Ralph Fiennes method" of relaxing on long flights. haha
